The Indian Council for Cultural Relations has launched a global painting competition titled 'United Against CORONA: Express Through Art'. The competition is open for all, including amateurs and professionals from India and across the world in all the age categories.
Submissions of artwork was encouraged which would be a way for artists to express emotions, feelings, ideas and innovative thoughts on COVID-19, social distancing, quarantine and the global fight against the virus through various media. Works can be in oil, watercolour, pencil, and crayon on canvas or paper.
The competition is aiming to attract four categories of people - professional, amateur and children and students. Artists are asked to submit works in the following categories - Contemporary Art, Folk and Tribal Art, Cartoons and Illustrations and Digital Art. Participation details and guidelines are available on www.iccr.gov.in, and for any further query, one can write to iccr4art@gmail.com.
